How to make a Skinner Blend with more than two colors

Robin asks:
How do you cut and piece the clay to make a skinner blend with multiple colors?

For those who don't know, a Skinner Blend is a method of blending different clays together using a pasta machine to create a graded color. It was invented by Judith Skinner, hence it's name. It's used to make various canes. If you've ever watched The Carol Duvall show you'll be familiar with Donna Kato of Kato PolyClay. She's on often teaching polymer clay projects. The Kato website has some great downloads and one particularly good one is how to make a skinner blend with five colors. You could adapt this to make blends of more or less colors.

Hope this helps!
